24/10/2019 - Yug Rusi became closer to Africa

Yug Rusi became closer to AfricaRussia-Africa Summit is the first high-level event in the history of Russia-Africa relations. The Forum was visited by heads of African states, representatives of Russian, African and international business and state institutions as well as by representatives of African integrated associations. Business agenda of these two days was very eventful. Sergey Kislov, founder of Yug Rusi, participated in the meeting dedicated to Sustainable Partnership in Agriculture: Institutions, Tools and Guarantees. In recent years, Russian companies have been expanding their export of agricultural products to foreign markets. Today Russia is among Top 10 suppliers to African countries. In his speech, Sergey Kislov noted: We have been present in African market for over 25 years already. We mainly cooperated with North Africa countries. But as time goes by it is becoming more evident that we need to penetrate into the market of the whole continent in Central and South Africa and on the shores of the Indian Ocean in respect of which we have extensive plans today. And we are ready to supply high-quality commodities such as grain and sunflower seed oil. We are also willing to participate in joint projects with African companies. Unfortunately, we know little about each other. About our current needs and opportunities. And, of course, I would like to thank the Forum organizers for a chance to reduce these barriers and establish new relations, said Sergey Kislov. Yug Rusi Group presented its products at the exhibition arranged as part of the Forum. Thanks to its participation in the Forum, Yug Rusi Group established dozens of promising contacts that will narrow the gap between economies of Russia and many African countries in future.
